The Perth Writers Festival starts next week and I’m really looking forward to it.
I’ll be on two panels – one on the Friday 20th at 2.30pm in the Dolphin Theatre, is called Ordinary Lives, with Liane Moriarty, Hannie Rayson and chaired by Stella Gloria. We’ll be talking about about writing about – well – ordinary lives.
The other panel is on Saturday 21st, also at.2.30pm and in the Dolphin Theatre, and it’s called Life Stages. I’ll be with Emma Healey – an English writer whose novel Elizabeth is Missing is a brilliantly written story of a woman with dementia, I can’t recommend it highly enough. A stunning first novel full of wisdom, warmth and humour. William Yeoman, Books Editor of The West Australian will be chairing that session.
Hope to see you there if you live in WA. More information at this link.
